Program Description

The Geriatric Psychiatry Community Service provides in-home and outpatient psychiatric assessment for older people experiencing mental health problems. It also provides treatment and referral for those who do not have access to psychiatric services. Psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists provide services. Other professionals are available for consultation if needed. Model of service is bio-psychosocial.
