Executive Director Position – ConnexOntario
The Executive Director is responsible to the ConnexOntario Board of Directors for the achievement of the strategic and operational goals of the agency. This involves orchestrating all human and financial resources, including community resources; to identify service needs within the scope of the agency’s mandate. The position must ensure the efficient and responsible delivery of services and programs of all the departments of the organization.
This position provides leadership and growth to a dynamic provincial organization. There are multiple demands, extensive travel and committee work, and the continual challenge to maintain existing funding while identifying and fostering new funding opportunities. As a provincial agency, the external contacts have diverse perspectives in a dynamic environment. As the most senior and visible spokesperson for the agency, the incumbent must demonstrate the diplomacy and tact to persevere in a politically challenging environment. Concurrently, it is expected that the agency maintain a consistent high quality standard of service to its users and continue to expand its services in response to the user’s needs and expectations.
