Mental Health Awareness

Program Description

This program provides public awareness and education surrounding mental health issues. Information sessions are provided for clientele, along with presentations and workshops to community at large and consumer groups.

Organization's Current Reported COVID-19 Response

COVID-19: CMHA Cochrane-Timiskaming is making the following service changes, effective immediately until further notice, to protect our clients and staff: • All four CMHA-CT offices (Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Englehart, New Liskeard) will be closed to the public • When possible, scheduled client appointments will be conducted virtually by telephone or other means • Essential services not available virtually will continue to be provided with added precautions and telephone pre-screening for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 • Crisis telephone lines will remain active, to which we’ve added additional staffing capacity to meet increased demand
