Program Description

Public Description: The Crisis & Outreach Services of CMHA Oxford provides Crisis Intervention to individuals via telephone or in person. Crisis & Outreach Services are mobile, meaning a worker is able to meet with an individual anywhere in the community. The Crisis & Outreach team provides support to individuals experiencing distress as a result of any of the following:
• suicidal/homicidal thoughts or attempts
• grief reactions
• distressing mental health symptoms
• self-harm
• abuse
• substance abuse
• relationship issues
• housing issues
• financial concerns
• stress
• employment issues
• conflict with the law
• individuals requiring access to mental health services

Access Information

Crisis line is answered by Reach Out central access for mental health, addictions, and crisis services.
