Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health

Program Description

Brief Service provides short-term counselling with a family therapist and supports goals identified by the child/family. This service uses a variety of evidence-informed modalities.

The Criteria for Brief Service includes:
- Parents or youth are motivated to achieve their goals.
- Family members are able to explore exceptions to their problems and build on what is already working.
- Parents and youth are committed to creating a positive change in their situation.
- Parents and youth are not in crisis.

Access Information

Call to book an appointment with Intake. Individuals under the age of 18 under sole custody of one parent are eligible for services. If custody is shared, consent must be obtained from both parties. Youth who are 12 years and older will be seen independently from parents.
