Support Within Housing - Mental Health

Program Description

Staff provides support to people with serious mental illness who are involved in the criminal justice system and require assistance in locating affordable and suitable housing. Support is provided to maintain housing and assist in the prevention of future involvement with the criminal justice system. A rent supplement is available. Eligibility criteria: individuals with a diagnosis of a serious mental illness who are 16 year of age or over; individuals who reside in the City of Hamilton; individuals who have current involvement in the criminal justice system; individuals connected with clinical support in the community; individuals who are low risk.
