Peer/Self-Help - Mental Health
Mental Health Peer Support Project (MHSP) provides a safe and welcoming environment for people living with mental health challenges. Peer Support is as an evidence-based practice and Peer Support Workers have taken training to offer emotional, social and practical support. MHSP Peer Support Workers have lived experience with mental health challenges and have received training in peer support to offer emotional and practical support based on trust, dignity, hope, authenticity, and compassion. Peer support programs at MHSP are person-centered and support individuals to work toward personal goals related to their mental health and wellbeing.
