Program Description

NNADAP provides prevention strategies through culturally appropriate programming to educate and create awareness about addictions and addiction-free lifestyles. Intervention strategies provide assessments and referrals to treatment centres, preparation of individuals for entry to treatment centres or rehabilitation treatment programs. Strategies also include short-term counseling in crisis situations and out-patient counseling services. Aftercare and follow up services provide support to individuals returning home or to their community from treatment and provide ongoing care.
