Family Support - Mental Health

Program Description

A four-week education and support group for family members and friends of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. The program provides mental health resources and information on the topics associated with daily living as well as the mental health recovery process. Topics presented in group sessions include information about: schizophrenia and psychosis, treatment options, coping as a family, mental health system and criminal justice system, and advocacy and support. This program is offered in regions across the province as well as online.
