Crisis Intervention

Program Description

In partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police, a crisis response team consisting of a nurse or social worker and a police officer respond to mental health and substance use-related calls. The goal is to divert the crisis and alleviate access to emergency services to relieve systemic pressure.

Access Information

The response is available to anyone within the OPP catchment area. All referrals come through calls to police dispatch.
