Program Description

The Lived Experience & Recovery Network (LERN) is a networking body providing linkage, support and education for all consumer/survivor and family organizations in the NE region of Ontario. With a number of member organizations in the districts of Algoma, Cochrane, Temiskaming, Sudbury, Muskoka Parry Sound and Nipissing, our vision is to empower peer communities towards wellness and recovery.

LERN provides workshops, networking events and resources that allow its members to gain valuable skills and to improve the quality of life for consumers and their families. Member benefits include: access to a knowledge exchange network, interactive website and social networking tools, access to peer support for the Peer Supporter, professional development, paid and/or volunteer opportunities and access to no/low cost organizational development assistance.

LERN provides support to member organizations through knowledge exchange network resources, peer support for the peer supporters.
