Community Treatment *ECD

Type Of Service

Addictions Treatment - Substance Use

Program Description

Community Treatment *ECD provides pregnant and parenting women with client-centered, non-judgmental counselling based on the Stages of Change and Motivational Interviewing. Services are delivered within a harm reduction framework that meets individuals where they are at to promote health, safety and wellness along a spectrum of behaviours including abstinence. To help reduce these barriers, such as childcare and transportation, practical supports can be provided to women to enhance their ability to access and receive services.

COVID-19 Note

All Clients continue to have access to staff/their workers by phone/virtually and/or face to face by appointment. Some support groups have moved to virtual delivery, and in-person groups are resuming. Kingston and Napanee offices are open, please call before visiting our rural sites.
