Family Support - Mental Health

Program Description

Offers support and assistance to family members of individuals with mental health issues. Provides families with individual support, including counselling, information, education, advocacy, and linkage to services, as well as peer group support.

Program is open to residents of Durham Region, 16 years of age and older, who care for or have been impacted by a family member with a mental illness.

Access Information

Applications can be made by the individual requesting service or by a third-party referral (family member, psychiatrist, community support, etc.) Application forms can be obtained by calling or by downloading the form from the website.
