Program Description

Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) is a safe, painless and effective therapy for a number of psychiatric conditions. The ECT team includes specially trained nurses, anesthetist, psychiatrist and respiratory therapist.

Access Information

Intake is initiated from Chatham Kent Health Alliance or Windsor Regional Hospital.
Referrals are also accepted from community physicians.
Comprehensive referral form to be completed, and then reviewed by the Intake Team to determine suitability for program.
