Program Description

The virtual Walk-In Counselling Service is a brief counselling service that provides immediate access for children, youth, adults, couples and families.

Each session can last an hour to an hour and a half. On Monday, individuals complete the intake with our Access workers, have their appointment on Tuesday with counsellors from Sault Area Hospital, John Howard Society, Algoma Family Services, and then they are contacted for feedback/evaluation by our Access workers on Wednesday.

Access Information

We accept calls to our Access Program on Mondays and clients can book an appointment with a counsellor for Tuesday – there are a minimum of 15 slots available.
