Youth Services of Lambton County Inc.

Huron House Boys’ Home is a safe, structured residential environment for adolescent boys with complex needs. Since 1970 our caring professionals have worked together to develop and implement programs to enable our clients to make positive changes in their lives. We are a non-denominational non-profit charitable organization licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services as an accredited children’s mental health facility. At Huron House Boys’ Home we provide unique programming which has earned a solid reputation for making significant improvements in the lives of more than 85% of the boys who enter our care. As a member of Children’s Mental Health Ontario we have been providing a treatment perspective to help young boys grow into successful adults since 1970. Our facility is situated on 12 acres of land near the shores of Lake Huron, in Bright’s Grove, Ontario. We have a capacity to help as many as 28 boys between the age of 12 and 18. Although there is no set time period that a youth will stay with us, it is generally appropriate that boys will live here for 8 to 12 months. It can be longer depending on the need. This decision regarding length of stay and treatment plan is made jointly by the youth, his caregivers and his advocates.
