Telephone support and mobile intervention for individuals who have mental health concerns and are in crisis. A crisis intervention worker will respond to calls on the crisis line and complete an intake assessment regarding the mental health concern. The COAST mobile team, consisting of a crisis intervention worker and a specially trained, plain-clothed police officer will respond to the residence, work place or any safe location in Halton to complete a risk assessment and mental status exam.

The Information and Referral Service is the first point of contact to find: mental health, substance use, and addiction service information, direction on finding the right provider, support in completing referral information, and discussion of next steps based on needs and preferences.

This case management program assists individuals facing significant barriers to recovery dealing with both addiction(s) and mental health issues.

Crisis Outreach provides short term stabilization services and crisis response to individuals experiencing mental health or addictions concerns within the Halton region.

Peer Mentor Program offering both registered and drop-in group programs.

The Release from Custody program supports individuals with a serious mental illness, developmental disability or brain injury, who are currently housed in a correctional facility assistance, to reintegrate back into the community in a safe and supportive manner.

Mental Health Court Support Program provides support for individuals with a serious mental illness, developmental disability or brain injury who are accused of criminal offences to navigate the criminal justice system.

Post-Court Transitional Case Management aims to assist individuals who are completing their court matters and live with a mental health and/or substance use concern. Goals are identified and worked on through service coordination, care planning, skill development and supportive counselling to promote recovery.
