Clinic operates Monday to Friday, with psychiatrists available for assessments. The clinicians who work in UCC also work in Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) and participate in the initial assessment with the psychiatrist and can offer short term follow up.

Provides low barrier access for patients seeking treatment for any substance use disorder. Provides brief counselling, prescribe medications (including anti-craving medications for alcohol and buprenorphine/naloxone for opiate use disorder) and connect patients with community treatment programs.

Offers treatment to clients who are concerned about their substance use with or without concurrent mental health problems/concerns. Provides comprehensive assessment, individual counselling and a psychiatric consultation and treatment.

Provides language and culturally specific assessment, consultation and treatment to Asian speaking people with mental illness. Offers short term psychotherapy, psychosocial skill building (individual and group), and psycho-educational (individual and group). People accessing this service must be Asian and non-English speaking. The two languages served are Mandarin and Cantonese.

For Mandarin-speaking individuals experiencing their first episode of a serious mental illness are offered individual intervention. Support for families and friends is also provided. People accessing this service must be Asian and non-English speaking. Program offered in Mandarin.

Provides psychiatric assessment, consultation and follow up to clients within the Toronto west catchment. Provides brief psychotherapy, and language specific psychosocial rehabilitation and treatment for chronic mental disorders. Primarily offers group based, time limited psychotherapy.

Provides assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to Portuguese speaking people who experience mental health and/or addiction problems. Inclusion criteria: - People accessing this service must be Portuguese language-dependent - Patients must reside in our catchment area: Parkside Drive to the west, Yonge Street to the east, Lake Ontario to the south and Eglinton Avenue to the north - Referrals are accepted for individuals who cannot access English language services due to a language barrier

Addiction, concurrent disorder and problem gambling assessment, treatment and follow-up. Offers relapse prevention, family intervention, group treatment and support. Main treatment models: psychoeducation and cognitive-behavioural. Mental health, addiction and problem gambling assessments, treatment and follow-up. Offers individual, family and group treatment. A 24-hour service physically located in the Emergency Department. The team provides rapid triage, assessment, management and disposition for the adult mental health patient who required these services while in the Emergency Department. Designed to provide a safe, secure, and integrated environment where these assessments can take place.

Provides service to individuals 16 years of age and over, with a history of high-level service needs caused by serious and persistent mental illness. Most of the clients have a primary diagnosis of schizophrenia, bipolar or schizoaffective disorder. Service is also offered to those with dual diagnosis. Provides long term, community-based, and holistic care to clients with a focus on improving quality of life and facilitating community reintegration. The team also provides support and education to families.

Inpatient unit for patients who require hospitalization for their eating disorder. Short-term hospitalization is provided for patients who require medical stabilization or interruption of eating disorder symptoms. Longer stays of up to six weeks are provided for patients with moderate to severe anorexia nervosa to initiate weight restoration and the establishment of a regular eating pattern. Treatment is voluntary and focused on behavior change and health improvement.

National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC) provides information, resources, referrals and support to Canadians affected by eating disorders. The Centre: - Staffs a helpline and provides a live chat platform to provide information on eating disorder treatment, resources and support - Develops and disseminates information and resources on eating disorders and food and weight preoccupation - Assists communities by helping organizations develop information materials, by providing support and advice, by connecting organizations and individuals working in the area of food and weight preoccupation, and by sharing information and resources - Runs workshops and presentations for schools, community groups and professional bodies on the prevention of disordered eating, promotion of positive body image, and healthy lifestyles - Provides displays on eating disorders at local community events - Runs prevention and awareness campaigns

Provides intensive outpatient treatment for approximately three hours per day, Monday to Friday. The program is based on cognitive behavioural therapy and includes nutrition counselling and other services, as needed. The program is offered virtually for a maximum of 12 weeks.

The individual therapy program offers individual cognitive behavioural therapy for eating disorders. It is offered virtually or in person and is approximately 12 weeks in length. Sessions are typically twice per week , Monday to Friday.
