Peer/Self-Help - Mental Health

Program Description

A peer support for youth 29 and under across Ontario. Young people may e-mail, instant message, or text and reach a self-identified 2SLGBTQ youth who will listen to them and offer support, information, or referrals.

Service is available to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit or queer youth needing support.

Peer support volunteers provide a space for their peers to be heard, validated and understood. All the volunteers are trained on dealing with issues like gender identity, coming out, sex and consent, self-care, and more.

Young people may email, instant message or text during business hours. Web chat is available on the website.
