Program Description

This program focuses on early intervention for psychosis for youth. Assessment, treatment and outreach services are provided by a multidisciplinary team including a psychiatrist, registered nurse, occupational therapist and social worker. STEPS uses a recovery-oriented approach to provide: assessment, treatment, help and support with school, work and social activities, family education and support, public education and advocacy, linkages to community agencies and services.

Anyone can make a referral: youth with possible signs of psychosis, family members, shelter workers, school staff, health care workers and more.
