Diversion and Court Support - Mental Health

Program Description

Provides supportive interventions and referral to programs and services for people experiencing mental health difficulties and who are also involved in the criminal justice system. The program provides counselling, advocacy for housing, and other social resources for life skills development.

Access Information

Referrals are received from the Ontario Court of Justice in the downtown Toronto courts but could come from anywhere in Metro Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Priority referrals will be given to clients who due to factors such as ethnocultural identity or backgrounds and/or other forms of racialization, alienation and marginalization.
