Program Description

The Niagara Region Mental Health program provides clinical case management services to individuals with serious mental health illness. Service includes individualized assessment, counselling, education, access to resources, services coordination, health teaching. A multidisciplinary team consisting of, psychiatric nurses, social workers, and mental health case workers. Support is provided in the community setting of the client's choice. Model of service is recovery. Education and support groups are also provided for anxiety disorders, seniors with depression, and a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) group for those struggling with borderline personality disorder.

Access Information

Referrals and program inquires may be made to the program intake worker Monday to Friday 0830-1600. Self-referral, organization referrals, family or physician referrals are welcome. Psychiatric assessments are available through OTN with a doctor's referral.
