Program Description

Peer support is offered on a one-on-one basis or group basis, as preferred by our members and at their request. Our self-help programs include, but are not limited to: money management; computer skills; Internet access; assistance finding resources and/or links to organizations/businesses at the members' request; life skills; kitchen/cooking assistance. We are located downtown with parking behind the organization. There is also a Mental Health Awareness Ride that is run annually, in which anyone from the public can attend. A mobile outreach peer support team is also available to share within organizations and provide peer support to people who cannot attend the centre.
An addictions counsellor is available Mondays and Wednesday at the drop-in centre. No Appointments are necessary and walk-ins are available. The Counsellor will do appointments and meet clients in the community.

Access Information

Our organization requires anyone wishing to become a member to be a mental health consumer/survivor, or caregiver to someone with a mental health issue. We do not require medical documentations or appointments, unless it is requested and anyone may visit us during our hours of operation.
