Program Description

Noojmowin Teg Health Centre provides psychology services to the Sheshegwaning First Nation and off-reserve indigenous populations within the Manitoulin Island District. The services include one-on-one; children, youth and family consultations, psychological assessments and primary and prevention activities. The mental health services work in close collaboration with the traditional healing program, and referrals are made from the First Nation mental health workers.

Access Information

Clients may be self-referred. They may also be referred by community mental health workers, the traditional program, or primary medical care workers.
