Program Description

Ottawa Salus offers a flexible range of housing solutions to optimize successful tenancy for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Housing types include a variety of models that foster transition into the community, group home living and independent living for individuals and families. All Salus permanent housing operates under the Residential Tenancy Act. The Salus housing portfolio includes: Fisher Transitional Rehabilitation Group Home; two group homes with one-person bedrooms, shared kitchen and living space; one single family home; four apartment buildings with on-site resource centres; three apartment buildings with no on-site resource centre; a Transitional Rehabilitation Group Home specifically for individuals under the supervision of the Ontario Review Board.
