Program Description

P.A.C.E. provides recovery support services to mental health consumer/survivors, based on the principle that all consumer/survivors should have the opportunity to contribute to their own well-being and that of their community. Services provided by Consumer Professionals and Certified Peer Specialists include: systemic/self-advocacy for improved mental health services/quality of life; in-house/public education; membership development through social recreation, focus groups, evening at-risk women's group and at-risk men's group, harm reduction training and supplies, harm reduction training and supplies, food bank, clothing assistance, membership meetings and the opportunity to build skills through participation on boards and committees. In addition to the Thunder Bay office, P.A.C.E. has consumer/family outreach offices in Geraldton, Manitouwadge, Marathon, and Schreiber.
