Program Description

The residential support varies according to the needs of the tenant and is as flexible and portable as required. The program is operated out of the Wellington Site, but workers provide service to clients in their home environment. This goal is achieved by a team of mental health professionals, who adhere to the principles and practices of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. The program is voluntary and thus clients remain in the program as per their needs and the program's ability to meet their needs.

Organization's Current Reported COVID-19 Response

No walk-in services are being provided at this time. Our Groups continue to be put on hold. All Clients continue to have access to staff/their workers by phone. Clients will be called by staff to look at changing any in-person meetings to phone calls. The 24/7 Crisis Lines, Residential programs and ACTT services continue as usual. Referrals are still being accepted and will be done over the phone. Our Napanee and Kingston offices will be closed to the public aside from booked appointments deemed to support providing essential services. Clients arriving for these scheduled appointments will be screened. The Agency main reception lines remain open and functional during usual business hours.

Access Information

Referrals can come from any source, including self-referrals. Referrals are made to the Intake Worker. Intakes are usually done within two weeks of referrals. Acceptance into this program is dependent upon confirmation of a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness, some form of income, and the client`s accepting of the housing program.
