Diversion and Court Support

Program Description

Provide court support to individuals 16 years of age and over, who require support to effectively engage in the court system. As well provide assessment and diversion planning to those individuals 16 and above who have come into contact with the law and have a mental disorder that could include a mental illness, a developmental disorder or an acquired brain injury. Crown attorney and defence counsel must agree to participate in diversion and community treatment court. Average length of stay is less than a year.
