Program Description

The Paediatric Eating Disorders Program provides service to children and adolescents up to and including the age of 17 who require multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment of an eating disorder (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder). Services include medical management; individual, family, group and nutritional counselling. Staff includes psychologists, paediatricians, psychiatrist, social workers, nurse practitioner, Child Life Specialist, registered nurses, dietician, and child and youth worker.

There may be a waiting period to be assessed. Physician referral required. Please request an intake form from the program. Telephone consultation available to physicians and other community service providers. Patients within the catchment area may be accommodated on the paediatric ward. OTN is used on a limited basis.
