Support Within Housing - Mental Health

Program Description

Provides and operates supportive housing accommodations for people in the Rainy River District primarily of low or modest income under the following; mental health issues, physically, emotionally, developmentally challenged, disabled by age or frailty. Landlord and tenant units rent geared to income apartments at three locations in Fort Frances. Model of service is psychosocial rehabilitation.

Access Information

Persons of primary low to modest income over the age of 18 under one of the following challenges; mental health issues, emotional, developmental, frail and elderly. Referral can be made by a physician, community organization, family member, friend or self. Must be a resident of the Rainy River District. Applications for accommodations can be picked up at our main office location (532 Front Street) or requested by phone via email.
