Program Description

This clinic provides short-term intervention for adult clients with mental health issues or concerns. The clinic is the main access point for adult mental health outpatient services and responds to requests from family physicians seeking consultation and treatment from a psychiatrist and/or social worker. Psycho-education groups on stress, anxiety and depression management are also available.

Access Information

Family physician referral is required, and the patient should be residing within the Central West LHIN. Physicians can contact by phone if referral forms are needed. Referrals are screened, triaged and referred according to need and degree of urgency. Referral forms must be completed and faxed. The wait times for an appointment are generally 3-4 months for social work and 3-4 months for psychiatric consult.
