Program Description

The Walk-in Counselling Clinic is a no-fee service which operates at various times during the week at eight locations in the Champlain LHIN district. Clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. No referrals or appointments are necessary. The Walk-in Counselling Clinic provides immediate support and timely help to individuals, couples and families facing a variety of life challenges: mental and emotional health issues, addiction, anxiety, depression, personal or work-related stress, crisis situations, trauma, grief and loss, separation and divorce, anger, sexual abuse (both men and women), family conflicts, relationship issues, parenting and intimate partner violence being just some of them.

Services are available and accessible to all regardless of ethnicity, race, age, ability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, income, and political or religious affiliation.

Access Information

No referrals or appointments are necessary. Appointments are single counselling sessions with a therapist or social worker. Session length ranges between 75-90 minutes depending on need. Clients can be referred to additional services as needed.
