Program Description

Adult mental health unit staffed with psychiatrists, social workers, registered nurses, registered practical nurses, personal support workers, a psychologist and an occupational therapist. Provides inpatient assessment, stabilization and treatment services for individuals who have an acute mental illness. It provides an environment designed specifically for adult patients who, as the result of a psychiatric disorder, have an acute and significant disability.
There are five beds designated for individuals with concurrent disorder.
