Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use
The program offers an intensive, structured lived-in treatment, recovery, housing & support in a therapeutic community environment. The program is designed for (but not exclusively) hard-to-treat populations with a history of severe and persistent co-occurring addiction (primary) & mental health (secondary) problems.
Through a holistic approach, client progress is intensely monitored and services include individual & group counseling (Seeking Safety group is offered), educational sessions, interactive workshops, peer support, life skills training and discharge planning/preparation for reintegration to home & family, school/work life, and/or referral to longer-term treatment and rehabilitation.
An Opioid Replacement Therapy medical form is to be submitted with the GAINS assessment.
No self-referrals. Appointments must be booked during regular business hours.
72 hours of detoxification for alcohol use and other substances will be discussed during the pre-admission interview.
