Bed-Based Treatment - Substance Use
The program blends cognitive behavioural models, group therapy, and the 12-step curriculum. The program supports individuals with examining personal values and learning disciplined lifestyle habits that will be essential to an individual's recovery success.
Clients must have not used alcohol and/or drugs for seven days prior to admission and must maintain contact with intake worker on a weekly basis. Most assessments are done by referral sources such as assessment and referral offices. Clients are referred to an assessment organization prior to admission. If referred to Westover, and if individual is assessed to be eligible for Westover, individuals are added to the wait list. Appropriate paperwork is completed at the assessment and referral office. Individuals must have completed GAIN SS/ADAT - Sent to organization prior to receiving a service initiation date, however they can attend recovery support or virtual recovery support while they wait. No outside visitors are allowed at this time.
