Program Description

The program provides secure, safe housing for one year to adult clients who are Six Nations Band Members, are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and have a complex addiction issue or concurrent disorder. Preference is given to clients who have successfully completed a treatment program and those with a demonstrated commitment to their own recovery. The clients must be able to pay rent or qualify for housing allowance. The program requires clients to follow a Recovery Plan with emotional, physical, spiritual and mental components. The overall goal of the program is to enhance the client's quality of life and help them to transition into a healthy lifestyle. The program is promoting collaboration with surrounding agencies both on and off Reserve.
