Program Description

Community Withdrawal Support Program offers services by a team of Registered Nurses that are supported by Physicians to provide: comprehensive assessment of needs; treatment planning; acute and post withdrawal assessment; case conferencing; interdisciplinary consultation; relapse prevention; community referrals; and education. This program takes a client-centred, harm reduction approach and provides community withdrawal management services to clients in any point on the withdrawal spectrum: pre-withdrawal, acute withdrawal and post-withdrawal.

COVID-19: At this time, ADSTV has made the decision to continue with phone-based and online services until further notice. We have also moved many of our team to working remotely in effort to maintain safety. We will continue to monitor the situation and explore options to maintain low-barrier services for our clients. Access Information

Open referral. Client must be willing to enter the program, and be 16 years or older. Client must also be willing to reduce the use of harmful substances and must be deemed safe to withdraw in the community in a safe and supportive withdrawal recovery environment.
