Program Description

ADAS is a psycho-educational workshop that gives participants an opportunity to complete a series of self-report questionnaires regarding their use of alcohol and/or other drugs.

The session also involves:
- information on various substances and their effects on the brain & body
- how addiction occurs
- substance safety
- how to recognize when substance use is a problem
- overview of House of Friendship addiction services

This program is offered virtually.

Services can be accessed by contacting Here 24/7. Individuals should indicate they are seeking the House of Friendship - Alcohol and Drug Awareness (ADAS) workshop.

Once a referral is made, a House of Friendship staff person will call the individual to register for preferred date, time and location.
