Program Description

Intensive Day Treatment programming that is client-centred, and designed to involve clients in developing and achieving their goals. Clients participate in group and individual counselling, as well as relapse prevention programming. Client service is delivered using a Bio-psycho-social Model, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and a Trauma-informed framework. The 6 week program consists of psycho-educational groups as well as individual case management. The program has 10 group sessions and one individual counselling session per week, lunch is provided daily. Outpatient services allow participants to work and live in their own home while attending the program. Professionally trained addiction counsellors equip and support individuals through specialized assessments and service plans. Service planning assists individuals to identify areas of strengths and needs, set goals and measure progress while focusing on relapse prevention techniques. Services include. Comprehensive Individual Assessment and Service Planning, Core 6 week Day Treatment Program, access to on-going continuing care support program, Referrals and discharge planning.

Clients must have stable residency and be available to attend program Monday-Friday from 1000 to 1400. Individuals or other agencies interested in the Day Treatment Program may access a referral form by visiting our website or by calling. Referrals should also include a current completed GAIN Q3 assessment. Support obtaining a GAIN Q3 assessment may also be provided.
