Program Description

The service consists of individual and group counselling for adult and youth substance users. Group services also available for parents of substance using youth and adult family members. Programs are educational, skills-based, and group therapy-based and offer concurrent disorders support. Every client is provided an individual psychotherapist. Group services for adults and youth range from psycho-educational in nature to group therapy within an evidence-based therapeutic approach. Group services range from information and education to those who have no intention to change their use to abstinence based groups. Not all groups are offered at every site.

Access Information

Referrals may be voluntary or mandated (for example, by justice system). All clients must complete an assessment. Wait time is dependent on the type of group a client is attending.
