Crisis Intervention

Program Description

CMHA Crisis Services provides 24-hour/365-day crisis support for individuals aged 16 or over, living in the London/Middlesex area. Walk-in crisis support is offered 24/7 by our crisis assessment team at the crisis centre. A crisis response team is available 24/7 to respond to crisis calls as well as provide face-to-face mobile support in the community. People may use us anytime they are in crisis if needed.

Organization's Current Reported COVID-19 Response

As of March 18, 2020, at noon, we have temporarily moved away from face-to-face service. We will be offering service, including intake by phone and email. This will be in effect until further notice. Although for the protection of your health we encourage you to call Reach Out first at 519 433 2023, our 24/7 Crisis Centre at 648 Huron St. remains open to provide mental health and/or addictions assistance to individuals requiring immediate support. All individuals will be screened using the pre-screener when arriving at Crisis Centre. For non-emergency related mental health concerns, to receive mental health information, or send referrals, please connect with our Information and Brief Support team by calling 519-434-9191 If you require immediate mental health and/or addiction information, support or are in crisis, please call REACH OUT 24/7 at 519-433-2023 / 1-866–933-2023 If you are experiencing a mental health and/or addictions crisis, you can visit our Crisis Centre at 648 Huron Street, London, open 24/7. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, you will be pre-screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to receiving services. You will be able to connect with your assigned mental health worker by phone or email Monday – Friday. My Sisters’ Place will be open to offer harm reduction, meal to go/snacks and basic needs from Monday – Friday, 11AM – 1PM and 4PM – 5:30PM AND Weekends, 11AM – 1PM. There will be limited access to the building.
