Program Description

The Regional Eating Disorders Program is a community-based outpatient assessment and treatment centre which serves clients and their families suffering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia. Services are offered to clients of all ages in a multi-disciplinary setting. Consultation/training and mentoring is also available to other health care providers assisting clients with eating disorders throughout the Northeast region. Model of service is maudsley approach with cognitive-behavioural, dialectical behavioural, and emotion focused therapy.

Access Information

The program accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from health care professionals and other organizations. Clients must agree to be medically monitored during the course of their treatment. Clients in the Sudbury District may access the program via our Central Intake and Referral program. Clients in other districts can contact the program using the toll-free number. Wait times are dependent on severity.
