Program Description

Treatment for children and adolescents with a diagnosis of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or an Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. Treatment can include psychiatric care, ongoing medical care to prevent complications caused by the eating disorder, group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy and advice about healthy eating.

Access Information

Each patient must be referred by an attending medical physician who will continue to monitor their patient while awaiting assessment. The referral package needs to be obtained from the intake coordinator, completed in full, and all required information returned at the same time as the referral package. Once all information has been received by the intake coordinator, the patient's name is added to a waiting list and an assessment date is given to the family at the earliest opportunity.
