Program Description

Community Treatment Order (CTO) coordination provided to physicians who refer patients who may be eligible for a CTO. We support patients on CTO orders with psychiatrists across Brant, Halidmand, Norfolk and Six Nations. Education provided to patients, families, and community stakeholders/service providers. Referral to Community CTO case management services and case conferences organized to facilitate successful discharge to the community. Model of service is psychosocial rehabilitation.

Community Treatment Order (CTO) Clients

Access Information

Referrals received by telephone or through Community Treatment Order (CTO) Coordination Request Form. Patient must meet CTO criteria outlined in the Mental Health Act. A psychiatrist is required to be the most responsible practitioner for the person on a CTO.
