Support Within Housing - Mental Health

Program Description

Various independent living situations accommodating 175 people who have mental health difficulties. The service focuses on providing clean, safe, and affordable housing while staff provides support to the individuals that reside in the units. Services focus on skill building, self-reliance and community integration, so that individuals can keep their housing. The individuals unit is considered to be long-term without a timeline.

Access Information

Coordination of referrals occurs via CMHA Durham Community Access Services. Requirement for program is mental health diagnostics, commitment to rehabilitation, want supports and willing to work towards goals.
