Program Description

The purpose of this program is to reduce the spread of infectious diseases and provide referrals to medical and other organizations; provide access to counselling and increase the health and well-being of individuals using drugs. It provides the following harm reduction supplies to injection drug users: needles; alcohol swabs; sterilized water; cookers, tourniquets, sharps containers, Naloxone nasal spray kits are also available.

Access Information

Assessments are not a requirement of the Needle Exchange Program. Individuals can exchange on behalf of other clients. Needle exchange can be accessed beyond posted hours depending on staff availability. Call the office to prearrange a time.
