Program Description

The Long-Acting Injection clinic provides administration of long-acting injectable (LAI) medication, and the assessment and monitoring of individuals who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness and are participating in the program. Individuals must currently be involved with a psychiatrist /family doctor and with services at CMHA. The nurses develop, implement and evaluate individualized treatment plans with individuals on an on-going basis.

Referrals are accepted from all sources. Contact organization for referral. The LAI clinic in Wallaceburg also attends Walpole Island Community Health Centre as needed for individuals with transportation needs.
