Program Description

The Assault and Sexual Abuse Program (ASAP) has a mandate to provide emergency health care, evidence collection, and follow-up services to all individuals who have been victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault/abuse.

Access Information

In the case of an emergency (assault occurred within last 7 days), go directly to the emergency room of Cornwall Community Hospital at 840 McConnell Avenue. Request an ASAP nurse. For healthcare-related victim help (assault occurred more than 7 days), or counselling-related victim help (assault occurred more than 7 days), please call (non-emergencies or information).

For emergencies (assault occurred within last 7 days), the emergency room is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For all other instances, hours are by appointment.
