Program Description

The program is a one-day outpatient-based group session for family members of addicted individuals. Community Addiction Services (CADS) provides community outpatient addiction counselling for individuals and families struggling with addiction issues. CADS is client-focused and works closely with the community to provide quality programming and services. Counselling services are available on an individual, family and group basis and focus on the responses to alcohol and drug problems. In addition, staff will: facilitate and co-ordinate contact with community resources, maintain a supportive relationship with the individual and family, and provide follow-up services after discharge from treatment.

Access Information

The program is available to family members 18 years or older of addicted individuals. Family members must not have substance abuse issues.
