Program Description

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Elgin provides safe, secure, supportive, affordable, permanent, independent living accommodations for individuals with a serious mental illness. Accommodations are spread throughout Elgin County including West Lorne, Dutton, St. Thomas and Aylmer. Provided are 38 apartments through the Homelessness Phase II Initiative and the Supportive Housing funding. These funded projects maintain affordable housing for individuals with serious mental illness facing a risk of homelessness.
